Awesome question, Rob... I'm sure i'm going to miss someone obvious. I think with who I'm picking, it would have to be 6 different dinners, because I'm sure the "guests" would each be able to fill up a whole dinner, and then some ! Anyway...
1) Jesus
2) The prophet Mohammed
3) Buddha
- As an Agnostic (recognize a higher power, but not sure what form GOD takes) I think it would be interesting and enlightening to get a first hand recounting of events, without interpretation by King James, et al.
4) My Grandfather - Died in a prisoner of war camp in Singapore. Have heard a lot about his principles, and would like to meet him.
5) Martin Luther King Jr - Would just sit for an hour and listen to him talk about... anything.
There are a bunch I would like, but being as the table only hold six and me...
6) Abraham Lincoln - Would be interesting to hear a President who spoke well, but also had a straight-forward directness in many of his statements.
