Evernote

Evernote has turned out to be one of the Cloud Services I use most.

You might ask why I use Evernote so much. Evernote is a note taking package on steroids. I use Evernote for doing the following tasks:

1. Saving the contents of the web page I am surfing to my notebook.

2. Taking a picture while I am out and about on my Iphone and saving it to Evernote with a notation so I do not forget about it.

3. Saving serial numbers for software I install on a regular basis at work.

4. Saving trip information including PDF files of my tickets in Evernote so I do not forget them.

5. Saving presentation files in Evernote so I have access to them from anywhere.

6. I save my lacrosse schedules and team lists in Evernote so I have access to them at the arena.

7. Checking my notes via the web, on my Iphone or my work pc.

8. The list is endless.

The beauty of Evernote is it is cross platform. It works on a mac, PC, or any pc with just a web browser. Most common smart phones are supported as well.

Their is a free version and a premium version of Evernote. The free version allows you to upload text, pdf files and graphics files. The premium version allows you to upload the same files as the free version plus any other document types you chose. For $5.00 per month for the premium version it is well worth the cost. This is the one application I have(besides Gmail) that I use every day. I live in Evernote.

If you need a great note taking application, I would suggest checking out Evernote.

Below is a quick video from Evernote themselves on how their product works:
