The Last 3 Weeks

Buffer

The last 3 weeks of my live have been rather interesting. I came back from work after a weeks vacation and found myself let go from my full time job of 15 years. I am writing this post to share my thought process with you on how I have gone about things.

I should also add that I usually have a very busy lifestyle and I have managed to keep busy which has been a blessing.

Many people are asking me how I feel these days. The two big things are that I am relieved and less stressed. I actually have more energy and my health is the best it has been ever. The bottom line is I do not have a job that was bogging me down both physically and emotionally. It is really hard when you are not happy with what you do to go and do that successfully every day.

I have taken the last 3 weeks to take some time for me and invest time into myself and my family. Kelli and I have been working around the house to organize our personal life. Once our personal life is organized I will be in better shape to find that position that I really want.

I am lucky. I have great friends and family.

I have continued to get up at a reasonable time and work towards goals and a schedule every day. This is really important. Having a normal planned routine with defined tasks is important. I also continue to run the lacrosse league which I am involved with.

Some days I am concerned. I do not like not working but in the long term I do know it will work out. Everything in life happens for a reason and somethings just take more time then others.
