Toronto Digital Camera Show

Last weekend was the spring Toronto Digital Camera show. I went to the show with my friend Leslie and spent about 2 hours at the show.

The show was presented by Henry’s Camera. As always they did an amazing job.

The usual vendors were on hand including Panasonic, Kodak, Nikon, Canon, Sony, JvC, Epson and Scan Disk to name a few.

Their was lots to be seen at the show. The latest in video and camera technologies were on display. Digital camera’s have really come down in price over the last number of years. You can now get a decent point and shoot for under $200.00 CD. That is amazing when you think about it.

One thing that caught my eye was the new Kodak Playsport. The big selling point is that it does 1080P video for $159.99 CD. That is incredible. To add to the feature list, this new video camera is good for 3 meter/10 feet under water. It was so feature rich with a great price point that I purchased one.

Right now as I write this post, I am on the Via train on the way to Niagara Falls. At the end of the weekend I will be posting a complete review on the Kodak Playsport video camera. I am planning on using my new camera all weekend to shoot some amazing video.

What do you think about this new device?
