Apple announced last week that they are introducing the Itunes social network called Ping. I thought I would take the time to write some quick thoughts on what Ping needs to do to be successful:
1. Fix the spam problem. Apple needs to implement better spam filters now.
2. Get as many musical artists on ping as possible.
3. Allow ping to include which podcasts I listen too. This way I can find out the content the people I follow like. This would also be a boom to podcast producers.
4. Allow ping to include what audio books I listen too.
5. Allow ping to include the apps that I use on my Iphone.
6. Ping needs better integration with other social networks.
7. Allow me to create my own ping home page similar to my Twitter page.
