Software for Free Security Links If you do not want to go out and spend money on software to protect your pc, their is free software on the market which will help you do this. The following are some free links to help you secure your pc:




A. Antivirus Programs:

1. Microsoft Security Essentials.

2. AVG Free- Great Free Antivirus program.

3. Avast Home Edition – Another Great Free Antivirus program.



B. Spyware Removal Tools:

1. Super Antispyware – Really good Spyware detection and removal program.

2. Adaware – One of the spyware removal standards that has been around for a long time.

3. Spybot – An older spyware removal program – worth having in your tool kit.

4. Malwarebyes Spyware Removal Program.




C. General Protection

1. Windows Updates – Link to the Microsoft Windows Update Page.



I personally do not recommend running any firewall software. Running Windows firewall behind a router is enough protection. This is why I do not have links to firewall software.
